We all spend vast amounts of time and money making our homes clean, comfortable and visually appealing. However, most of us spend less time thinking about the sustainable and ethical issues the products we use at home might be perpetuating. Home products can range from the materials and equipment we use when renovating homes, to the furniture we buy and the cleaning and household products in our weekly shopping basket.
The global drive for sustainability, as well as research into the health problems associated with some chemicals in household products, means there are now a range of sustainable and ethical options on offer. Legislation is also forcing change in some areas.
