Declaring a climate emergency to creating regenerative systems and leadership – what is changing and why is it so urgent? A living wage, worker’s rights, and rebuilding social equity and a finance system to support build supply chains transition to a just and zero-carbon economy. An estimated 4 million people are going hungry with work stopped in garment factories. There needs to be a transition but one that is built on the empowerment of workers and the eco-system, not its full-scale exploitation. Broken, ragged, and in tatters, from crops to clothing our supply chains are failing to feed us and be responsive to the convergence of crisis: climate, ecological, social, and health.we are acutely aware that we need to redesign the way we do business and live to put people and nature central. Join us to flesh out a vision for how sustainable supply chains should look? How can we redesign our economy to be net-zero by 2040 or before?
